Each week during worship we have been hearing from you all about how this church change lives-their own and others. Your support of the missions and ministries here at Lakeview enable our church to be a home for ALL those who are searching and seeking God's extravagant welcome. It also makes it possible for us to come alongside God at work in the community and in the world.

While there are many ways to support the congregation, in the coming weeks we ask everyone to think in a particular and prayerful way about the choices we make with our money in support of the church. During worship we will dedicate the gifts and promises we have made. I hope you will join us!

May Lakeview continue to be a place for those who are seeking a spiritual home and a community of love and support. A community where all are welcome as we gather in many ways, worship, speak truth to power, strive for justice, study, discuss, listen for God's still speaking voice, share of our gifts and remember and re-affirm our covenant with God and each other. A church that has not only already changed lives, but also looks beyond the horizon to discern God's call for the days to come. For as we do, we continue to find that there are many others who long for this kind of church and that they too will find a home here at Lakeview.
